RF element's Solution
Gain Enhancement: We started by analyzing our existing 5GHz MIMO antenna designs and identified areas for improvement to achieve the desired gain. Through meticulous engineering, we were able to enhance the antenna's gain to exceed 15dBi.
Beamwidth Optimization: To achieve the required 90-degree horizontal beamwidth, we redesigned the aluminum reflector base structure. This modification allowed for a more compact reflection pattern, ensuring that each antenna segment covered the desired 90 degrees.
Polarization Design: To minimize signal interference among the four antennas when combined for 360-degree coverage, we introduced a ±45-degree polarization scheme. This design choice facilitated better signal management and contributed to the high-gain performance.
